Here’s a detailed Creamy Tuscan Shrimp recipe—rich, garlicky, and full of flavor, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or white wine)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the shrimp
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
    • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce
    • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
    • Add cherry tomatoes and cook 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
    • Add chicken broth (or wine) and scrape the pan to loosen browned bits.
    • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Add greens and shrimp
    • Add spinach and cook until wilted.
    • Return shrimp to the skillet and coat with sauce, heating for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Serve
    • Garnish with parsley and serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

Tips:

  • Add sun-dried tomatoes for deeper flavor.
  • Deglaze the pan with white wine for a more aromatic sauce.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.

If you like, I can also provide a 15-minute quick version that’s just as creamy and flavorful.
