Here’s a simple and comforting Milk and Cinnamon Pudding recipe—a creamy, mildly sweet dessert with a warm cinnamon flavor.

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 4 cups (1 liter) milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tsp ground cinnamon (plus extra for topping)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, or ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
    • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and 1–2 tsp cinnamon.
  2. Add milk
    • Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  3. Cook the pudding
    • Place saucepan over medium heat.
    • Stir constantly until mixture thickens and starts to bubble (about 8–10 minutes).
    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Serve
    • Pour pudding into individual serving dishes.
    • Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top.
    • Chill for 30 minutes for a firmer texture, or serve warm.

Tips:

  • Stir constantly to prevent lumps and scorching.
  • For a richer flavor, substitute 1/2 cup of milk with cream.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.

I can also provide a baked version where the pudding forms a lightly caramelized cinnamon crust on top if you want a fancier presentation. Do you want that version?
