Here’s a quick, clear recipe for Peanut Butter Cup French Toast Rolls — a warm, gooey, over-the-top breakfast/dessert treat!


🥞 Peanut Butter Cup French Toast Rolls

Ingredients (makes ~8 rolls)

  • 8 slices soft sandwich bread (white or brioche)
  • 8 mini peanut butter cups or 4 regular cups cut in half
  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Butter for the pan
  • Powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, or warm peanut butter for topping

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the bread

  • Trim crusts off the bread.
  • Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice.

2️⃣ Fill the rolls

  • Spread a thin layer of peanut butter along one end of each slice.
  • Place a peanut butter cup at the edge and roll up tightly.

3️⃣ Make the custard

In a shallow bowl, whisk together:

  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Vanilla
  • (Optional) Sugar + cinnamon

4️⃣ Dip & cook

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of butter.
  • Dip each roll briefly into the egg mixture (don’t soak too long).
