Here’s a simple, no-bake homemade crunch bars recipe — sweet, chocolatey, and delightfully crunchy! Perfect for a quick treat.

🍫 No-Bake Homemade Crunch Bars

Ingredients (8–10 bars)

  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • ½ cup honey or light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: 2 tbsp butter (for chocolate topping)

Instructions

1. Prep pan

  • Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Mix the crunchy base

  • In a large bowl, combine rice cereal and crushed graham crackers.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt peanut butter and honey together, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  • Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal mixture and stir until well coated.

3. Press into pan

  • Transfer mixture to the prepared pan.
  • Press firmly and evenly into the pan using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

4. Add chocolate topping

  • Melt chocolate chips (with optional butter) in microwave or over double boiler until smooth.
  • Spread melted chocolate evenly over the pressed mixture.

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours until firm.
  • Cut into bars before serving.

✨ Tips & Variations

  • Nut-free: use sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter.
  • Extra crunch: fold in chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips before pressing.
  • Drizzle style: skip full chocolate layer and drizzle chocolate on top for a lighter coating.
  • Flavor twist: add ½ tsp cinnamon, cocoa powder, or a pinch of salt to the base mixture.
  • Storage: keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

If you want, I can give you a microwave version that takes just 10 minutes from start to finish.
