Here’s a flavorful and easy Parmesan Baked Pork Chops recipe—crispy, cheesy, and juicy:

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, thyme, basil)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    • Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the coating:
    • In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the pork chops:
    • Brush each pork chop with olive oil or melted butter.
    • Press both sides of the pork chops into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Bake:
    • Place the pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 °F (63 °C) and the coating is golden brown.
    • Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.
  5. Serve:
    • Let the pork chops rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a little grated Parmesan to the butter or oil before brushing onto the chops.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a light salad.
  • Thicker pork chops may need an additional 5–10 minutes of baking; check internal temperature to ensure doneness.

I can also provide a garlic-herb Parmesan version with a breadcrumb crust and pan-seared finish for even more flavor and crispiness.
