🍒 Cherry Pie Bites

Ingredients (makes ~16 bites)

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (or crescent dough sheet)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

1. Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cut the dough

  • If using crescent roll triangles:
    • Separate into triangles and cut each triangle into 2–3 smaller triangles.
  • If using a dough sheet:
    • Cut into 2-inch squares.

3. Add filling

  • Place 1–2 cherries + a little filling in the center of each piece of dough.
    (Don’t overfill or they spill out while baking.)

4. Fold & seal

  • Bring the edges together to form a little pouch or bundle.
  • Pinch well to seal.

5. Coat & bake

  • Brush with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle with sugar (and cinnamon, if using).
  • Bake 10–12 minutes, until golden brown.

6. Finish

  • Let cool 5 minutes.
  • Dust with powdered sugar if you like.
