Here’s a hearty, easy Crockpot Chili recipe that’s perfect for a cozy meal with minimal effort.

🌶️ Crockpot Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, jalapeños

Instructions

1. Prep the meat

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer meat to the crockpot.

2. Add the ingredients

  1. Add onion, garlic, beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and broth to the crockpot.
  2. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

3. Cook

  • Low: 6–8 hours
  • High: 3–4 hours

The chili is done when the flavors are blended and the onions are tender.

4. Serve

  • Ladle chili into bowls and add optional toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, or jalapeños.
  • Serve with cornbread, tortilla chips, or over rice for a complete meal.

💡 Tip: For extra depth, you can sauté the onions and garlic with a splash of olive oil before adding to the crockpot.

I can also give a “super-easy 5-ingredient version” that takes literally 5 minutes of prep if you want it. Do you want me to do that?
