Here’s a simple, tasty scrambled eggs on toast recipe — creamy, soft, and ready in minutes.


🍳 Scrambled Eggs on Toast

Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 2–3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter (or a splash of milk/cream)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1–2 slices of bread
  • Optional toppings: chives, cheddar, chili flakes, smoked salmon, avocado

Instructions

1. Toast the bread

Toast your bread so it’s ready when the eggs finish.

2. Whisk the eggs

  • Crack eggs into a bowl.
  • Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Whisk until smooth and slightly frothy.

3. Cook the eggs (low and slow)

  • Melt butter in a non-stick pan over low heat.
  • Pour in the eggs and let them sit a few seconds.
  • Using a spatula, gently push eggs from the edges toward the center.
  • Continue slowly stirring until soft curds form.
  • Remove from heat just before fully set — they’ll finish cooking off-heat.

4. Assemble

  • Butter the toast if you’d like.
  • Spoon the soft scrambled eggs on top.
  • Add chives or extra pepper.

  • Low heat = creamy eggs (don’t rush).
  • For extra richness, add 1 tsp cream cheese or a splash of milk.
  • If you like firmer eggs, cook a little longer.
