Here’s a comforting, family-friendly recipe for Spaghetti Delight—a creamy, cheesy twist on classic spaghetti that’s simple yet indulgent.

🍝 Spaghetti Delight

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: ¼ cup heavy cream for extra creaminess
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the spaghetti

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Make the sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion until soft, ~3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add ground beef (or sausage), cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer 10–15 minutes. Optional: stir in cream for a richer sauce.

3. Combine and bake (optional “delight” style)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking.
  2. Toss cooked spaghetti with sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

4. Serve

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm with garlic bread or a simple side salad.

If you like, I can also give a quick stovetop version that skips baking but is just as cheesy and delicious. Do you want me to make that version too?
